This is a refurbished Smart Cartridge . This unit is specifically designed to be installed through the 'Swap' program at a local VanMoof partner.

Installation at a service partner:

We recommend having this part replaced directly by an affiliated partner. Most Smart Partners offer this service free of charge, and installation takes a maximum of 5 minutes.

It is strongly recommended that you have the Smart Unit replaced by a professional.

1. Warranty Validity: The warranty is only valid if the replacement has been carried out by a professional bicycle mechanic.

2. Wiring loom check: The installation must include confirmation that the wiring loom has been checked and is free of defects.

3. Return Policy: Returns will not be accepted if the replacement was not performed by a qualified service partner.
