The Main ECU is the central control unit of your VanMoof S5 or A5. If this component fails, the bike may turn on and function, but essential motor support will not be provided.

We offer a specialized repair service for exactly this problem.

This repair is specifically intended for the following situation:

• The bicycle starts normally.

• The display, lights, e-shifter and Kick Lock are working properly.

• The bike responds to buttons and connects to the app.

• The problem: You experience no motor support while cycling.

If your bike meets the description above, we can repair the Main ECU for you and restore support.

Conditions for repair

To ensure the quality of our repairs, we have strict acceptance requirements. Please read these carefully before making an appointment.

1. Specific focus: We currently only repair the defect where support was lost. Other ECU malfunctions or defects are not (yet) addressed.

2. Connectors: The connectors (connection points) on the ECU must be intact.

   • Please note: If the connectors are broken, bent or otherwise damaged, we unfortunately cannot carry out the repair.
